På söndagen hade vi inget planerat förrän banketten började kl 17.00. Jag och min dotters värdmamma, Rebecca, gick en promenad utmed Lake Superior's strand. Vi kom fram till en rosträdgård. Det var väldigt fint.

Banketten var väldigt lyckad. God mat, trevliga tacktal och annorlunda och häftig uppvisning av Indianer från trakten. Numera säger man inte det ordet i USA utan det heter Native Americans. De dansade och sjöng för oss och fick till och med några av ungdomarna att vara med i en dans.

Det häftigaste var dock när vi fick se en enormt fin bildserie från hela veckan med musik till som Gary hade gjort. Det var en riktigt, riktigt bra summering av vår härliga resa och jag tror att de flesta blev riktigt rörda.

Efter att presenter osv var utdelade och de vinnande lagen fått sina prisbucklor hade ungdomarna disco. Då fick vi vuxna gå någon annanstans och vänta tills det hela var färdigt.

Sunday. We had nothing planned until 5.00 pm when the banquet started. Me and my daughter's hostmother, Rebecca, went for a walk at the shore of Lake Superior. We went to the Rose garden and it was really wonderful.

The banquet was a real success! Good food, nice speaches and a marvellous show by some native americans. They where dancing and singing and they even got some of the kids to dance along.

The most fabulous thing that happened though, where the slideshow that Gary had made. Full of pictures and music. This was a really great end of our wonderful trip to Duluth. I think most of us where touched.

After evereyone had got their presents and the winning teams got their trofée, the kids where dancing. The adults had to leave and wait for the dance to finish.
